Lamplight Technology — Production SaaS Portfolio, AI-First
Four production SaaS products operating in parallel with NT0 client work — proof that the same engineering brain delivering fractional CTO engagements also ships and operates real software at production scale.

The Challenge
Build and operate a portfolio of vertical SaaS products as a solo founder, while running a parallel client consulting practice. Different products, different verticals, shared engineering practice. The constraint is non-negotiable: production quality, AI-native, real revenue, real users, real support obligations — without sacrificing the depth that the NT0 client engagements require.
The temptation in this setup is to cut corners on one side or the other — let the products run on autopilot, or let the consulting work eat all the operating muscle. Lamplight is structured so that neither happens. The products keep the engineering practice current; the consulting work keeps the architectural patterns sharp.
The Approach
AI-native development across the portfolio. Shared infrastructure where it makes sense — auth, billing, observability, deployment pipelines — and product-specific stacks where it doesn't. AI integrated into both the products themselves (intake automation, content generation, recommendation systems, voice/text/email handling) and the development process (planning, architecture, code generation, testing, delivery).
The architectural patterns get worked out in the Lamplight codebase first, where the iteration loop is fastest and the cost of getting it wrong is lowest. The patterns that hold up at production scale across multiple verticals are the ones that show up in NT0 client engagements.
The Result
Four production SaaS products in market, operating in parallel with NT0 client work:
- OneShotCV — AI-powered career and resume tools
- MultiBooks — accounting workflows for small operators
- AnchorPoint — multi-tenant camp and retreat operations platform
- MechanicFlow — automotive shop operations and intake automation
All four are live, real users, and real production traffic. The same architectural patterns and operational discipline that ship Lamplight products are what get applied to NT0 client engagements — and the production AI experience that informs every fractional CTO call comes directly from running these products day to day.
This is what makes the NT0 practice different from consultants who only consult: I'm shipping production AI software in the same week I'm advising someone else on their AI roadmap.
